We are currently hiring Full Time and Part Time Massage Therapists! This is an independent contractor position offering great pay and incentives! We are looking for people who have a passion for massage. People who don't see massage as a "job" or as "work" but as something they love to get up and do everyday! Must be reliable, flexible with your schedule, self-motivated, a hard worker, dependable, bring positive energy, and commited to helping people. Must be licensed/certified and professionally insured {or willing to get this by December} and willing to work to build a steady clientele. Some of the benefits of a contractor position include:
~ Make your own schedule! Work whatever days/times you want. Only do as many massages a day as you want to, so you're never over-worked!
~ Enjoy the freedom! Come and go as you please between appointments. Do a couple in the morning, go run some errands, come back and do a couple at night. You're not stuck at work on a slow day folding towels!
~ Freedom to do the massage YOUR way! Your time with your client is totally up to you. No one will tell you what to do or how to do it.
~ Great Pay! As an employee, you would get paid maybe $7/hr while not massaging, and between $10-$17 per massage. That's around $400/wk doing 40hrs. As a contractor, you will get between 40-50% of each massage you do plus tips, which means doing 3 massages a day 5 days a wk you can make around $450 plus tips which brings the average weekly check to around $550 and you only have to work 15hrs a week! You just come in, do your massage and leave. You get paid more and work less! This is the best benefit of a contractor. { some weeks you may do less than 15 massages, you may do more. How much you want to make is up to you. This is just an example}
~ Work side by side with other great therapists! We are a group of contractors that work together as a team. Come to work in a beautiful spa environment & be around positive, encouraging people you can learn alot from! Have a client who needs myofascial or reiki? We have a therapist who can do that! Be able to refer your clients without making them have to leave the spa!
~ Have a say in the company! We are always trying to reinvent ourselves. If you have an idea on how to make things better, on a new service to offer, how to spice up old services or how to bring in new clients, we love to hear them! Again, we all work together as a team to creat a succesful massage practice for everyone!
